(AEHS) members represent the many disciplines involved in making decisions and
solving problems affecting soils, including chemistry, geology, hydrogeology,
law, engineering, modeling, toxicology, regulatory science, public health, and
public policy. AEHS recognizes the widely-acceptable solutions for contaminated
sites that can be found through integrating scientific and technological discovery,
social and political judgement, and hands-on practice. AEHS offers a medium for
these solutions and is devoted to providing scientific, technical, regulatory,
public policy, and practical information on soil contamination and cleanup through
conferences, courses and the AEHS membership directory. AEHS has developed and

1956 an international forum on the management of groundwater for the benefit of
mankind and the environment IAH
is a scientific and educational organisation whose aims are to promote research
into and understanding of the proper management and protection of groundwater
for the common good throughout the world. IAH
has over 3500 members in 135 countries and welcomes all who support our objectives
